Things I Would Love To Do Next Year

Things I Would Love To Do Next Year

I have been thinking about this one for a while now and yes every year people say new year, new me. Don't get me wrong I have probably said this in the past I mean who hasn't right? However when I have been thinking I don't want a new me. I just want to change things a little. So when I say change things, I mean incorporate little things in my life to maybe change my outcome and see the bigger picture.

My first thing I would love to do next year would be to expand my blog and work on it a little more. I have had my blog for nearly a year now and to me this is crazy. I would like to take It to the next steps to see how far it will go. This is also for all of my social media like instagram, twitter and facebook. The worlds my oyster.

My Favourite Christmas Yankee Candles

My Favourite Christmas Yankee Candles

Yankee Candles are one of the most popular candles as they are a well known brand for their wide variety of scents and also different sized candles. I love candles as they make your house a home. I also love when you smell a certain scent and it reminds you of a happy time, that's one reason why I love Yankee candles.

My Favourite Lush Bath Products

My Favourite Lush Bath Products

You guys can probably tell by now with my other blog posts, that I absolutely love having some me time, whether that's a pamper night, chilling out night or having a cosy bath and snuggling up on the sofa and watching a film kind of night. What better product to help me along the way to have the perfect comfy night other than the Lush Bath Products.

So last year for Christmas I got given a LUSH box with some Lush bath products in them as a gift. This is when I discovered Lush. I had always wanted to try their products because I heard such good reviews about them. The first bath I had with their products I absolutely loved it! It was a game changer! I knew from then on I had to try all of their products. So since then I have tried some more and I’m going to share with you guys some of my favourite Lush bath products.

The Body Shop Vitamin E Range Review

The Body Shop Vitamin E Range Review

I have secretly got a soft spot with The Body Shop. Anybody who knows me, knows this too well. I don't know what it is but every time I walk past a body shop I have to go in and get something. It's never anything small it's always a handful of stuff that I don't ever need but want to try. I think it's because every thing I try in the body shop never lets me down.

So my friend has started to do The Body Shop at home and she's kindly let me test a few products out of the Vitamin E range. I have to say their is nothing I don't like from this range, all the products are stunning and great for your skin.

Autumn Make Up Look

Autumn Make Up Look

I don't know about you guys but I have officially popped open the berry lip colors. I love this time of the year as I love to wear a berry lip color and it's always better shown as a bold lip. I feel like it's the only time of the year it's acceptable to wear bold lip during the day even if your not going out, my excuse it's Autumn.

So this time of the year I know I need to look after my skin that little bit extra as my skin starts to become dry and a little bit more irritated. I have also been wanting to try something new for my skin and I seen the L'Oreal Skin Expert Fine Flowers Gel-Cream Wash was on offer and I decided to get it. I have been using this the last couple of days to remove my make up and also to wash my face on a morning. I have to say i'm currently really enjoying using it. It specifically for dry and sensitive skin so perfect for mine this time of the year. It's rather cooling on my skin so on a morning it's lovely to wake my skin up and feel fresh. It has rose and jasmine in it. The rose is meant to Sooth and comfort your skin to stop it from irritating and the jasmine is meant to protect and moisturise the skin. I would definitely repurchase this again this Autumn.

Autumn Evening Routine

Autumn Evening Routine

Seasons comes and season go... It's that time of the year again when I remember how much I actually love Autumn. It's strange though as I'm not one for cold weather give me sun any day, but there's something so special about Autumn. When the leaves change color, temperature changes, nights get darker and we wrap up warmer. It makes me warm inside and I think it's because I love to be cozy and what better season to be cozy in.

Here is what I normally do for my Autumn Evening Routine.

If I come in from a busy day at work the first thing I do after taking my shoes off and putting my bags down is to stick the kettle on. I find the biggest mug I have and make a cup of tea. I love to wind down after work and to me having a cup of tea solves everything. After making a cup of tea I start to run a bath. Whilst my bath is running I quickly prepare my outfit for the next day so it is ready and i'm prepared just a little bit. After a long day at work my make up has to come off, I have mentioned this before but I use the No 7 Hot Clothe Cleanser to remove my make up. However I have been testing out the L'Oreal Skin Expert/Paris Fine Flowers Gel - Cream Wash. I may do a full review of it once I have tested it out a bit longer. After removing my make up I then make the decision whether i'm going to have a Lush bath bomb or if I am going to be having a big bubble bath. Once the bath is ran, I like to light a candle, get a book and relax.

Moving Home: Tips And Tricks

Moving Home: Tips And Tricks

So they all say there's nothing more stressful than moving home. Although it's coming up to two years since I moved out and got my own place with my boyfriend. What I recall it wasn't stressful but it was actually fun, exciting and we both just couldn't wait to move in. I remember that as been a really happy time in my life as it was such a big deal for us. However non of the less, I am going to be sharing with you guys my tips and tricks on how to ensure you guys have a fun and exciting move just like we did.

So whether it's buying or renting your place I have it covered. I am not expert but these are a few things I picked up along the way from my own personal experience.

Mini Boots Haul

Mini Boots Haul

I needed a new foundation as mine was running out, so I decided I would go to boots. I found the foundation I was looking for and then I also seen loads of new products I hadn't seen before. In the back of my mind I was thinking I don't need any more make up as I have enough already and on the other hand, I was thinking what sort of beauty blogger would I be if I didn't get them. This is were the Mini Boots Haul comes in. Some of these products I did get were mostly on offer.

I'll start off with the foundation I actually went in for, which is the Maybelline New York Dream Satin Liquid Foundation. I have only used this foundation once before last year and I really loved the way it looked on my skin. I enjoyed testing it out as each day it was so easy to blend and I could do my make up super quick. I thought I would try it again. It has SP13 in it and I got it in the shade 10 Ivory. This was on offer buy one and get a second product half price. So I decided to also get a concealer the Maybelline New York The Eraser Eye Concealer. This is in the shade light, I have never used it before however I heard some really good reviews about it. Although I did test it out this morning and I have to say for using it for the first time it's pretty good. I'm going to continue to use it and see how I get on with it.

My Weekend Morning Routine

My Weekend Morning Routine

There's nothing better when you have had a busy week at work and then the weekend comes around and you have them two days off, it's bliss. I thought I would share with you guys today, my weekend morning routine.

So normally on a weekend I like to have a little bit of a sleep in, so I would usually set my alarm for around half 9. I would wake up and usually make a cup of coffee for my self and my boyfriend, then take it back up stairs and get comfy in bed while I have my morning coffee. While I am in bed I tend to scroll through social media and check my emails etc.

The Perfect Lazy Sunday!

The Perfect Lazy Sunday

There is nothing better when you have the weekends off work and you have the time to do the things you been wanting to do all week. Whether that's shopping, going for food or even seeing your friends and family.

I named this the perfect lazy Sunday although you could do this any day off the week when you have free time, although more people tend to have a Sunday free. These are a few things I love to do too have the perfect Sunday.

My Current Favorites

My Current Favorites

For the past few weeks I have been gathering some idea's together on what future blog posts I could do. So if an idea popped into my mind I would write it down and then keep it for later and think about how I could use that idea for a blog post. However when storming down the idea's my current favorites didn't come into my mind until today. I didn't want to do just a monthly favorites as these are favorites I have been loving over a couple of months.

So going straight into it my first current favorite would be The Body Shop Honey Bronzer in the shade 01. I have had this previously and purchased a 2nd one last month as mine ran out. As I have been using it I have discovered it's my favorite bronzer. The reason being is because it doesn't make me look orange or it's not too heavy on my skin. This is a matte bronzer and it's great for contouring or even just giving your skin a bronzed look. I also love the packaging its very sleek so very easy to pop into your bag and take it on the go. Another handy thing on the packaging, it has a mirror so if you need to touch up you don't have to worry about not having a mirror. I would say this bronzer lasts all day, I have put this on from 10am in the morning and it's still on at 8pm at night.

My 3 Favorite Palettes!

My 3 Favorite Palettes

I currently love wearing something bright and colorful with it been this time of year. I always like to try something new each year to see if I like it for the summer. To have a summer look if you like. Having something different and knowing you can pretty much use the same look everyday.

Spring Make Up/Office Tour

Spring Make Up/Office Tour

Before....

Since me and my boyfriend moved into our home I have always wanted a dressing table. Somewhere I can get ready on a morning, do my hair, make up and get dressed. I also needed a place to store my make up. So about a month after we moved in, it was my birthday. My Boyfriend asked me what I wanted for my birthday. I mentioned that I would like something for the house and then that's when I thought a dressing table. He let me pick out my own dressing table and I only wanted something small. He surely enough got me it and set it up bless him. It was so cute and it fitted into the spare room like the perfect pair of skinny jeans.

However as time went on I began to have a build up of make up. I was planning on getting some new draws to put down the sides so I would have more storage. That was going to be the plan. Although at this point I was considering blogging. I wasn't sure what to do so I held off the draws idea for a bit. I started to blog in January 2017 and I thought I would give it a go to see if it was for me. 6 Months later I am still doing it. Although in the last few weeks I have started to work on my blog loads to try and get it where I wanted it to be. It has been really fun to do and learn as I go. I have loved it more over the last few weeks.

L'Oreal Paris Elvive Extraordinary Clay Shampoo & Conditioner Review

L'Oreal Paris Elvive Extraordinary Clay Shampoo & Conditioner Review

Morning to you all!

Getting ready on a morning can be a bit rushed. Especially if you have a time scheduled you have to stick to or if you have important meetings to go to. We have all been their where you have had a really late night and you nearly sleep in and your in a rush to get ready. I know often when your that rushed your hair can be neglected sometimes and forgotten about. So therefore people use dry shampoo, then style it as its really quick and easy to do and it'll sort you out until the end of the day until you come in.

I have always loved to look after my hair well try too. I have had a dry shampoo moment as well, i'm not going to beat around the bush i'm just been honest. I always wash my hair on a daily basis on a morning when I get ready for work. Although I have heard from hairdressers them selves your not meant to wash your hair everyday as it takes the natural oils out of your hair. So one day I tried to leave my hair unwashed with out any dry shampoo and well my hair was that used to been washed it was a disaster. My hair was disgusting and so greasy in my roots. (Sounds vile I know) Until I discovered L'Oreal Paris Elvive Extraordinary Clay Shampoo & Conditioner.

Spring Make Up Look

 Spring Make Up Look

So spring has officially sprung and I don't know about you guys but my skin starts to change when the weather changes too. My Skin has started to feel a lot more smoother and softer. In order to keep on top of that to make sure my skin doesn't go dry, I have changed my skincare routine and also my make up look. Which I am going to share with you and show you guys what I have been loving over the last couple of weeks.

First of all my skincare routine ....

Over the last couple of weeks I have loved using a sheet mask maybe once every two weeks to keep my skin moisturised and hydrated. I haven't been spending a lot of money on the one I have been using either. I have been using the Garnier Moisture Bomb sheet masks. You can find these in your local Boots, Superdrug or even your supermarkets their really easy to find. I highly recommend these as they are super hydrating, easy to use and really affordable. When I use them my skin becomes really smooth and I believe my skin looks plumper. I have sensitive skin and I have to be careful on what I use on my face as it could get irritated, however I am able to use the Garnier Moisture Bomb sheet masks as it's suitable for all skin types. You leave the sheet mask on for around 15 minutes and it's brilliant as you can use it any where and it's great for traveling.

Spring Clean

Spring Clean!

It's that time of year again were the weather is getting warmer and the flowers have sprung. Their is no better season than spring.

Spring time is the time of year when I think I need a spring clean in my wardrobe as I have jumpers, knitted hats, coats and boots off the winter. I also like to inject a bit of color in my wardrobe for spring outfits as I can use these pieces for my summer outfits also.

Their is no better feeling than putting away all my winters clothes and bringing out the spring clothes. Don't get me wrong I have kept a couple of jumpers out from the winter as it is England after all we don't get the hottest of springs. It also causes for shopping their is no better feeling than purchasing a couple of new items for the spring season.

You can also use your winters clothes with your spring clothes and jazz up an outfit. For example, you could have a winter jumper and you could put this with a spring skirt with tights and high heal boots and their you have it a new outfit. You could also wear a dress with a mac coat over the top with heals and that could be a evening outfit. Their is plenty of ways to put winter clothes and spring clothes together to create a new look.

It's not just clothes I have cleared away its also make up. I always say this but their is no better way to finish a look but with a lipstick. The lipsticks I was wearing for winter was very nude lipsticks which yes I will still wear on a daily basis, however with it been spring and all I like to inject color to my make up look with a bright lipstick like a pink, coral or a red. Wearing lipstick makes you feel more confident especially with bright colors because it makes you feel better about yourself.

I hope you all like this little blog as I will be doing a lot more in the next couple of weeks so keep your eyes pealed.

I hope yous all have a lovely Easter weekend!

My Favorite Lip Products

My Favorite Lip Products

I'm not a person to shy away from a bold lip. One of my favorite pieces of make up is a lipstick. Who doesn't love a good old lip product, whether this is to make your lips feel better and smoother or whether its to finish off your glam look for a evening out. It could be anything but I think your lips finish off your look.

Their is such a wide variety of colors of lips products out there now to suit all seasons. It could be a bright coral or pinks ready for spring and summer and then for Autumn and Winter you could choose colors like dark reds or even purples depending on what you like.

Pamper Nights

Pamper Nights

So it's the end of a long hard week and your preparing your self for a fresh start to the new week. Whether it's the Sunday before work or even that mid week where you need a pamper. Whether you go to work, university or even school there's nothing better then giving your self a little pamper to rewind after a long hard week and to get the best nights sleep.

I firstly take off any make up that I may have on with a make up wipes and the ones I use are the simple face wipes, these just work really well with my skin and to take off my make up. Then I like to run my self a really hot bath and pop a lush bath bomb in there with it. Recently I have had a choice since I got quite a few for Christmas which I am totally grateful for as I have found a new lease of love for lush bath bombs. They are amazing they actually make your bath 10x more better than a normal bubble bath. I also like to light a Yankee candle with my bath and turn off the lights so it makes it more relaxing.

Favorite Hand Creams

Favorite Hand Creams

A lot of people who know me, know I love a good old hand cream, I mean who doesn't? It's that time of year again when the weather is cold and your hands start to dry. I know most of us are always on the go and can tend to forget about your hands until you notice they are dry. We are all busy people and you use your hands to do a lot. Could be picking up the phone, using your hands for a manually Job, its could be typing or even washing up. Your hands go through a lot in one day and you don't really notice it.

This is why I always keep hand cream with me while I am on the go whether that's in my bag, in my car or even at my desk at work. I never leave the house without it. Theirs so many pro's of using hand cream. It makes your hands feel better, smoother, smells lovely and will make your hands look younger in the long run. Here are just of few of my favorite hands creams that I swear by.

New Year, New You!

Happy New Year to you all.

I know I say every year I'm going go make sure I have a more healthy lifestyle I try and watch what I eat and try an exercise more. I know most of us would do the same every year. Which is great if you keep at it. However I do try and do it and never stick to it. So what I may do this year is not to put my self of strict diet I may just change a few habits.

Instead of picking unhealthy snacks like crisps or chocolate bars, I am going to change this to grapes or strawberries the best I can. I also promise my self to drink a lot more water but I'm sure all of us are guilty of this. So instead of having plain water I may put lemons or limes in the water overnight and make a big bottle of this to last me all day, which will be a refreshing drink.

I also may change one thing a day, and that would be to do something that makes me happy, whether that's at the end of a long day and I decide to have a massive relaxing bubble bath or to have a 10 minute break with my favorite spot of tea. Tea makes everything better or even if its to go for a short walk with a bit of fresh air. Something that relaxes me and also clears my mind. Have a think of what makes you happy and make sure you do the same thing too.

I'm also going to try and do something out of my comfort zone, whether I like it or not at least I can I tried. I'm not sure what yet but am sure a few ideas will come to mind. At the end of the day though make sure you do something that makes you happy.

Laura's Introduction

Hello my name is Laura and I'm new to all of this. I'm 24 years of age and I'm from the north east of England. I first got inspired to start my own blog pretty recently however I have wanted to do this for around 2 years and never had the courage to do it until now.

I started watching vlogs around 3 years ago as i found that people were talking about my hobbies and interests. Whether this was fashion, beauty or lifestyle I was interested. I never thought I would actually get round to doing this, however when I started watching and reading blogs I noticed that I was talking about beauty products to my friends and family a lot more as time went on. So I thought what better time to start blogging than now, it's a new year.

What I love most that I have found that actually helps as well, is finding beauty products that are a good price whether that's drugstore or high end is finding out how good they actually are and whether it's worth the money. My plans are to start writing about beauty, fashion and lifestyle things that I love and also what makes me happy.
