Autumn Make Up Look

Autumn Make Up Look

I don't know about you guys but I have officially popped open the berry lip colors. I love this time of the year as I love to wear a berry lip color and it's always better shown as a bold lip. I feel like it's the only time of the year it's acceptable to wear bold lip during the day even if your not going out, my excuse it's Autumn.

So this time of the year I know I need to look after my skin that little bit extra as my skin starts to become dry and a little bit more irritated. I have also been wanting to try something new for my skin and I seen the L'Oreal Skin Expert Fine Flowers Gel-Cream Wash was on offer and I decided to get it. I have been using this the last couple of days to remove my make up and also to wash my face on a morning. I have to say i'm currently really enjoying using it. It specifically for dry and sensitive skin so perfect for mine this time of the year. It's rather cooling on my skin so on a morning it's lovely to wake my skin up and feel fresh. It has rose and jasmine in it. The rose is meant to Sooth and comfort your skin to stop it from irritating and the jasmine is meant to protect and moisturise the skin. I would definitely repurchase this again this Autumn.

For my day cream I have also decided to try out a new product which I have never used before as I believe it's new. It is the Garnier Skin Active with Aloe Extract, it's a botanical day cream. I use this cream on a morning after I have cleansed. You only need a little bit of this cream as it goes a long way. I usually put it all over my face and down my neck. The cream smells amazing so fresh and cooling too my skin. Keeps my skin hydrated all day. I believe it's made up of 96% natural ingredient. I again will be purchasing this again.

Once I wait for the cream to sink into my skin I would usually get ready once I have done that i'm ready to pop some make up on. This foundation keeps coming back to me every time and it's the Rimmel London Match Perfection Foundation with SPF 20. I just can't fault it, it's a brilliant affordable foundation. I tend to go a little bit heavier on my foundation this time of the year just to get a little bit more higher coverage. For my concealer I like to use the Maybelline The Eraser Eye in the shade light. I pop this just under my eyes to brighten them up. I would say this was a medium coverage but its great as it's doesn't look too heavy on your skin.

Once I have done my base I like to then go onto my brows. I'm not one for really heavy eye brows, I like to keep them looking natural if I can. With me having dark hair anyways i'm lucky enough to not have to do much to them. I currently use the Maybelline Brow Drama. This is literally just to fill in my brows a little bit more. I really like it for a natural looking eye brow.

For my eye liner I have been using the Rimmel London Scandaleyes Eye Liner. This really does stay on your eyes all day. It takes a little time for it to fully dry but when it does it doesn't come off. This is such an easy eyeliner to use for a cat flick look as it's really thin on one side and on the other its really thick. For these Autumn months I love to have a cat flick eyeliner look also which this makes it easy to do.

I have been loving using the Revlon Ultimate All - In - One Mascara. This mascara has everything you need, it has a lovely length and also just the right amount of volume. Their are other mascaras out their that has more length but for me this mascara is perfect for a everyday look. I only apply two coats onto my lashes and that's enough for me.

With it been the start of Autumn I still love using a bronzer, however I only use a small amount just to contour my face. I am still currently using The Body Shop Honey Bronzer, which I love and will continue to love and use for a long time.  For a pop of colour on my cheeks I have just discovered Jack wills lip and cheek tint. I haven't used this on my lips yet however I have used it for my cheeks and I must say that this blends beautifully. I only use such a small amount I just press it onto my cheek and then use the warmth of my fingers to blend it in. It's a really pretty colour too.

As for my lips, I wouldn't normally go for this colour. However I seen this lip stick and the first thing that came into my head was that it reminded me of autumn. I had to have it, the lipstick is from Rimmel London and it's in the shade 500 take the stage. I don't normally like bright red lips sticks I would usually go for a deep red or berry colour. When I tried it on it was the perfect bright red lip stick. It looks lovely on my lips and it stays all day. I only had to reapply once throughout the whole day. I think this lip just finishes off the autumn look. It's slightly different to what I would normally wear for autumn but it's nice just to change it up once and while.

I love Autumn, I hope you guys like this post, if you did please give it a thumbs up as I will write more of these. Also don't forget to subscribe if you haven't already. I would really appreciate it if you did.

xoxo
