Getting To Know ... Corrie Swaffield

Hi Everyone,

This is my brand new exciting series I have started. I am going to be interviewing massive bloggers/youtubers that I have followed for years and enjoy the content they create. I will be asking question to get to know them a bit better. Hence the name Getting To Know.

With out further a do I am super excited to be even writing this, this is crazy to me. I am super excited to announce the first guest we will be interviewing is Corrie Swaffield also known as aka dizzybrunette3.

The reason why I ask you to be interviewed Corrie is because I am sure I have told you this, when I was thinking about setting up a blog I wasn't sure how and back then there wasn't much content out there of that kind. I remember stumbling across your video and that was it I was hooked. That video helped me create my blog and with out that who knows whether I would of even had this blog if it wasn't for that video. Fun Fact for you guys.

Question 1, 

Corrie we all know you love your make up just like me, what's your favourite beauty products at the moment?

At the moment, I am loving Rimmel's Radiance Shimmer Brick as it gives you such a nice sun-kissed glow, and the Iconic London Original Illuminator which is the most glowiest highlighter ever- I think either of these two are my current make up faves, but it's hard to narrow it down, I love too many haha!

Question 2,

You also have a youtube channel and I remember watching all your America vlogs when you visited. Whats your favourite thing about America for it to keep making you go back?

There's so many reasons why we love America, it's hard to pick just one reason why, but the food is definitely a big selling point! We love Orlando, because it's so much fun and who doesn't love Disneyworld? We also love the atmosphere of NYC, and it will always hold so many special memories as that's where we got engaged. There's so many other places I'd like to visit in America too, and hope to go back really soon!

What's your current beauty routine?

At the moment, my current beauty routine is all about trying to get a sun-kissed bronzy look, so use a lot of products like the Rimmel Radiance Shimmer brick, Pixi Fairy Lights eyeshadows, and the Iconic London Illuminator. Hair wise, I use my Babyliss rollers to try and get some volume, and I've been loving the Lee Stafford Cactus Crush range (the only products keeping my hair from looking like Monica from Friends in the Barbados episode at the moment!) Then skincare wise, I'm still keeping things quite simple as I've not long finished a course of Roaccutane, so I've been using a lot of Pixi products are they're very gentle on the skin.

If you where stuck on a island and you could only pick one beauty product, what would it be and why?

Ah this is so tough!! I'm torn between Mascara - because I always feel better with some lashes, or some lip balm which is really boring but there's nothing worse than having dry lips! 

Question 5,

What was it that made you want to blog? (was it inspiration or do you like writing etc)

I've always loved writing and beauty products, so writing about beauty seemed like the perfect thing to do! I used to read beauty blogs, and one rainy Saturday, I decided to start my own, I wanted to have somewhere to talk about my love of nail polish and Cheryl Cole! I was homesick at university, so writing my blog made me feel a little less lonely, and I loved writing a blog straight away.

What bloggers are you currently enjoying at the moment?

I love so many, but the ones who I read a lot at the moment are ; Sophie's Make up, Pint Sized Beauty, Kate La Vie, The Everygirl, The Skinny Confidential and Vix Meldrew- I love lifestyle blogs with pretty photography, and all these girls write amazing posts which I relate to and inspire me so much.
