Highlights In 2019!

Although I have had a rough year, when I look back I have had also so many amazing highlights this year that I would like to share.

I have taking time out to read some books and my two favourite books I have read this year was An Edited Life by Anna Newton. This book is perfect for this time of year. The time in-between Christmas and New year and you have absolute no idea what you're doing, who you are or what day it is. Haha. This book is basically how to sort all your adult shit out. How to get your life in order great for new year. This book has taught me so much and I feel like a responsible adult when I follow things from this book. Like organising my clothes, sorting out my finances, there's literally all sorts. It's a great book, if you haven't read it I highly recommend you do.

Why I Haven't Blogged In A Year

Why I Haven't Blogged In A Year

So why haven't I blogged in a year? I'm guessing most of you must of thought, that's it Laura's lost her spark in blogging or has quit. The trouble is, that couldn't be further from the truth. I've honestly missed sitting with my laptop been able to write about things I absolutely love. It's a huge hobby of mine. When you set a time to publish it and it goes live, there's a lovely feeling about it. It actually feels good to do this. Although it's also really hard to put into words why I haven't blogged.

Hello 2019!

Hello 2019!

Goodbye 2018, Hello 2019! I never thought I would be so happy for it to be a new year however I am so excited for a fresh start. As I said last year I'm not a person to say New Year, New me. I'm not the same person as I was last year as there was so many things I have learnt in 2018. It was an eye opener and I learnt a lot. I'm so excited for a fresh start and to enjoy 2019!

The positive things I have taken away from 2018 would be ... Travel more, care less, make the best memories, laugh, love always and most importantly always be yourself.

Drops Of Youth Review

Drops Of Youth Review

I hope you all had a lovely Christmas and are enjoying your time off. I think I have ate and drank my whole body weight in chocolate, cheese and wine. I mean what else is Christmas all about really if you don't. Although I am enjoying eating all the naughty things my skin would usually be paying for it about now as this time of the year it's cold my skin always become dry and irritable. However I have my skin care covered.

I have been absolutely loving my skincare routine. I have been using The Body Shop Drops Of Youth Range. Spoiler Alert!! I have only good things to say about these products but I will go into more detail.

I'm Back & Let's Catch Up

I'm Back & Let's Catch Up

Hope you are all well. So it's official I am back, I have not blogged in over a month. It feels much longer than that. I am sorry for this also. I will be explaining why and whats been going on in little detail later on in the blog post. However right now it just feels great to be back behind my desk typing on my laptop again with my dog under my desk ripping my sock to pieces. haha!

This is going to be a chilled blog post, so make sure your in your comfy's and go grab yourself a cup of tea and lets begin.

Let's address the elephant in the room first and foremost and as to why I haven't been blogging for so long. On my latest blog post I posted The Importance Of Self Care. I guess for me life got way way ahead of me over the last month or so. I have been feeling very stressed and overwhelmed. With out going into to much detail I didn't realise life was ahead of me and I needed to take a step back.
